“Donation after Circulatory Death (DCD) Heart Transplantation: A New Horizon”

 

Session Objective(s):

  1. Participants should be able to distinguish the key differences between DCD (Donation after Circulatory Death) and DNDD (Donation after Neurologic Determination of Death) heart transplantation.
  2. Participants should be able to assess the use of ex-vivo cardiac perfusion for evaluation of DCD donor hearts.
