Dr. Risha Gidwani is a health economist whose research focuses on the value of care, specifically end-of-life care and cancer care.  Her research identifies ways to improve patient-centered outcomes while simultaneously reducing costs of care.  She is particularly interested in palliative care as a way to improve the value of care provided to patients with serious illness.
