The Department of Medicine Diversity and Inclusion Council invites you to our first ever Inclusion Rounds. The Inclusion Rounds are a forum to engage with colleagues to discuss issues that affect our DOM community. Please join us as we welcome Dr. Jennifer Young, PhD from the Stanford Center for Biomedical Ethics for an intimate conversation on May 13th from 12-1 PST with Dr. Joy Wu moderating. Dr Young will start this session with a presentation on AAPI history followed by a discussion with Dr. Joy Wu. Future sessions will focus on topics such as: anti-Black racism, Sexual orientation, gender identity, abilities. We aim to train the next generation of population health scientists, scholars, and leaders. The Stanford Medicine 6th Annual Diversity & Inclusion Forum, a Continuing Medical Education conference sponsored by the Office of Diversity in Medical Education, will highlight innovative workshops developed by residents and fellows across Stanford GME programs, with their educational mentors, who have participated in the 2022-2023 cohort of the Leadership Education in Advancing Diversity (LEAD) Program. The Diversity & Inclusion Forum will be an enriching opportunity for faculty, trainees, students, postdocs, staff and community members to learn tools and strategies to enable them to become an effective agent for change in diversity, equity, and inclusion in medical education.

She aims to build relationships amidst differences and cultivate healthy contemplative practices for the transformation of self and the world.
