 ABSTRACT:

Cancer cells interact spatially and dynamically with their microenvironment during tumor progression changing their phenotypic states. This challenges the field of precision medicine which is currently not optimized for the individual patient. We now have the ability to obtain highly resolved molecular phenotypes directly from individual cells obtained from patient samples that can be used to define cell states, understand cell circuitry, and study cellular responses to drugs. I will present 2 Network-based-single-cell analysis frameworks with the potential to precisely determine the dynamic state of a disease and individualize combination therapy for a given patient with applications in cervical, blood and lung cancers.
