Documentary Screening and Q&A: Black Men in White Coats

Stanford Medicine’s Office of Faculty Development and Diversity (OFDD), Office of Diversity in Medical Education (ODME), Student National Medical Association (SNMA), and Black Faculty Affinity Meetings (BFAM) will host a screening of the documentary Black Men in White Coats and a Q&A session and panel with the founder Dr. Dale Okorodudu and Stanford Medicine faculty. You have the option of viewing the documentary on your own time if you cannot attend the livestream.

Black Men In White Coats seeks to increase the number of Black men in the field of medicine by exposure, inspiration, and mentoring. To accomplish this, BMWC is partnering with various medical schools across the country to produce outstanding short documentary videos which bring awareness to this issue that not only affects the black male population, but also the nation as a whole.
