Presenter: Jonathan Li, MD, MMSc, Faculty Candidate

Dr. Jonathan Li is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and a faculty member in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital.  His research is focused on HIV drug resistance, persistence, and vaccines. He is active in the AIDS Clinical Trials Group (ACTG) as a member of the ACTG HIV Reservoirs and Viral Eradication Transformative Science Group and as the Chair of several ACTG clinical trials.  In addition, he sees patients in both the outpatient Infectious Diseases clinic and on the inpatient consult service at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Current research projects include the

  • Predictors of HIV rebound after treatment interruption and post-treatment virologic control
  • HIV minority variants using next-generation sequencing
  • HIV integration into the human genome
  • Correlates of HIV neurocognitive impairment

The Li Laboratory is located in Cambridge MA, and is associated with Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School.
