Dr. Gene Richardson is a fellow in the Division of Infectious Diseases and Geographic Medicine at the Stanford University School of Medicine, as well as a Research Scientist at the Desmond Tutu HIV Centre in Cape Town. His research focuses on the political ecology of infectious disease burdens. He is trained in both medicine and anthropology.
