Tushar Desai, MD, MPH, specializes in the treatment of general pulmonary and Interstitial Lung Diseases like Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF). He has practiced pulmonary medicine since 2002. Desai has a special interest in understanding the development and progression of diseases like IPF, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), and lung adenocarcinoma, as well as in understanding how native lung stem cells function to repair the lung gas exchange surface after injury.
