The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology has invited Seungil Ro, Ph.D. to be a guest speaker on Tuesday, August 22nd from 10:00 – 11:00am in Alway M114.

Seungil Ro, obtained his Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Nevada, Reno, in 2002, where he has been Associate Professor (tenured) since 2015 in the Department of Physiology and Cell Biology in School of Medicine. His research interest includes epigenetic mechanisms of gastrointestinal smooth muscle remodeling and diseases. He has one US  patent, has published 40 papers, and has been serving as a regular member of NIH grant review panel, and an editorial board member of PLoS ONE.
