The mission of the Stanford Center for Clinical Research (SCCR) includes offering educational resources, training, and support for investigators and research staff.  We have invited Clinical Assistant Professor at the Stanford School of Medicine, Dr. Minjoung Go, MD  to provide you with an overview of the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

At the conclusion of this class, you will be able to:

  • Explain the epidemiology, transmission, symptoms, complications and treatment of COVID-19
  • Understand the significant findings of current research related to COVID-19
  • Recognize the role health of care providers and public health departments play in the COVID-19 crisis

About the Instructor:

Minjoung Go, MD, MPH, is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Stanford School of Medicine. She obtained her MD degree at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, the n completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Stanford University in 2015. Dr. Go is currently working in the Division of Hospital Medicine and serves as the section chief of the Stanford Health Care-ValleyCare (SHC-VC) Hospitalist team. She is also working as the research physician at SHC-VC. She is a sub-investigator for the NIH ACTT trial at SHC-VC.
